We were blessed with a beautiful campsite just 80 yards or so down river from the one that first catches your attention. A small trail leads to a large tree about 30 yards from the shore. The site is down river from the toilet. Shade was plentiful and the cicadas were singing their song!

Excellent campground for a rustic paddle trip down the Colorado River from Glen Canyon Dam. It’s pretty exposed so you’ll want to bring some shade if you are going to be there overnight and all day. Clean bathroom just above the camp sites. Water is cool and refreshing. Lookup to the tops of the cliffs to see people watching you from 1400’ above.
