Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has been in the Kanab / Angel Canyon area since 1984. With over 6k acres, a haven for all kinds of animals in need. The campground is in two loops with 1 - 8 and then 9 - 18 right next to each other but connected by a path with a bathroom. The campsites are spacious, level and concrete pads. Surrounded by trees and bushes. Each site has a patio and picnic table. No fires allowed for the safety of the animals. A membership of $25 for Best Friends will give you a discount on the price of the cabins and campsites. You can reserve online and it is self check in. This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have been to. Located next to Kanab you can visit Little Hollywood. Pink Sands is about 16 miles away. There are all kinds of shops and places to eat including the best vegan food right here at the Sanctuary. Go visit Best Friends and take a free tour or even volunteer your time to help with the cats, dogs, horses, birds, etc. Go say hi to Petunia pig in Piggy Paradise!

Amazing place! The RV park was perfect for our rig and the scenery is so beautiful. Well maintained facilities. It was awesome to learn about their mission and all the work they do for the animals. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area with your RV, pick this place, you will not regret it. And the money you spend goes to help their operation and all of the animals. It's a win-win!

What a wonderful campground -- and we've stayed at many. So beautiful, so low-key, so perfectly maintained. Strong wifi. Nice bathrooms. Super private sites with great views. (The lower campground where we stayed has more privacy and ever-so-slightly less views; the upper campground has slightly less privacy between sites (but still very generous spacing) but better open views of the canyon walls.)

This is one of the best if not the best RV park we’ve stayed at in Utah! The view that you wake up everyday is just breathtaking! It is very peaceful and quiet! The bathroom / shower is super clean, warm and big! Check in is easy! Staff are friendly! Good and free WiFi too! Rates are pretty reasonable too! This RV park is inside an animal sanctuary therefore this place caters to your furry companions too! There’s a lot of hiking trails inside the sanctuary and they’re all pet friendly! This place has got everything we want! We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful small campgrounds amongst nature. Concrete pads and full hookups. 1-8 are a little tight for the larger rigs, but doable. Close to Best Friends welcome area and all their facilities.
