the rv park is currently undergoing alot of construction. I didn't expect such an unfinished product. I'm curious to see the end result . Hopefully it will have the amenities and grooming worthy of the price. that said, full hook-ups and a pull thru site with plenty of room was nice. the office, not on site, was responsive when we checked in and couldn't find the sewer port. the on site maintenance man quickly arrived to assist us.

Though the trees are pretty to camp beside there are literally zero amenities, if we hadn’t been waiting on a part to come in for our vehicle we most definitely wouldn’t have spent as much time as we did at this campground, uncapped sewage pipes caused pretty gross smells when the sun came through, unmaintained on any level, very uneven and ungraded campsites, it was the most we’ve ever had to adjust our level. On top of all that it’s one of the most expensive places we’ve stayed! The only reason we went with it was because everything else was taken due to the fires in Sedona. And the laundry… just take it to someplace else, not worth it. Overall I really don’t understand what you’re paying for at this location, besides proximity to downtown.

Check-in & out was easy, but overall our stay at Heartwood RV Park was very disappointing. The map provided at the entrance was outdated, so we weren’t initially clear on where our site was located. Thankfully, the confirmation email had two different spots to look for, and we eventually figured it out. As visitors coming to Flagstaff for a vacation, we were disappointed by the amount of construction throughout the park. It was quite an eyesore, and there were essentially no amenities. There wasn’t even a good walking path where my kids could walk around and enjoy the outdoors. In my opinion, this park may be better suited for someone looking for a place to stay long-term, rather than vacationers looking for a nice RV campground with amenities. I really regretted not staying at Woody Mountain RV Park down the road, which at least had a park, a store & entertainment. The biggest issue, however, was the FULL hookup that we paid for but could not use. The sewer connection was completely backed up with standing sewage water all the way to the top. Obviously, we could not connect to or use it. We called and texted the resort for assistance and received no response. As a result, we had to check out with a full black tank and find somewhere else to dump it ourselves. That was extremely inconvenient and frustrating, especially after paying for a full-hookup site. We did appreciate the donuts on Saturday… that was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, overall, we feel like we spent way too much money to camp at what felt like a construction zone, without amenities, and without being able to use the full service we specifically paid for. We really wanted to enjoy our Flagstaff trip, but this campground did not meet our expectations, and the lack of response when we needed assistance was especially disappointing.

Love staying here at this rv park. They are currently under construction and updating their electrical & plumbing system for rv stays. I love all the natural shade provided by the pine trees and how quiet community is. The staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
