Tranquil and rustic. A great family campground. Our family will definitely be back. The campgrounds have picnic tables and fire pits. There are clean pit toilet. There are no hook up or dumping, but that can be done near by. The campground hosts are kind and helpful. You can see their efforts in keeping the campground clean, quiet, and safe. They also have firewood for sale. Which is great because it is important to buy the wood where you burn it to help protect the local trees. The campground has a highway next to it but that is not a problem. There is almost no traffic and across from it is the visitor center, the Jacob Lake Lodge (really good food) and, and gas station. There is also a really cool nature trail that is an easy hike in the campground.
