Starlight Campground gave us the best first-time camping experience as a family. My husband, our boys, and I absolutely loved it. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. The space itself was beautiful, peaceful, and well cared for. The bathrooms and showers were honestly amazing — super clean and far nicer than we ever expected at a campground. For our very first camping trip, this place set the bar incredibly high. We’re already talking about coming back and recommending Starlight Campground to other families.

This is my second year and stay at Starlight and again it was fantastic. The host really cares about her guests and keeps the campground well groomed and the restrooms and showers are the cleanest I’ve ever had at a campground. It was a delight to see the new additions and hear of upcoming projects. This is my go to when I visit the Kanab area for 4 wheeling, hiking and sightseeing. A great base for White Pocket, Glen Canyon, Grand Staircase, Vermillion Cliffs, Peek a Boo slot, Coral Pink Sands, and day trips to Zion and Bryce! Thanks, Michelle!

Michelle was absolutely amazing with information and such a personable gal. The camp sites are so well thought out to the cute little wind block walls to making sure the picnic benches are in shade at some point in the day. Bathroom and SHOWERS are very clean have nice HOT water and lightly air conditioned. The views are impeccable and day and night 100% will be staying here again.

We stayed here for two nights in July. We went out for the day and came back to a nice wind. We lit a camp fire, cooked a meal on a stove, and enjoyed a night under the stars. This campsite goes above and beyond. It has spacious campsites, tables at each of them, fire pits and firewood available, and five bathrooms, of which three have hot showers. I was impressed by the toilets, which are much more water efficient than the average toilet. Michelle is a welcoming, organized, and attentive host who is happy to give you tips on what to see and how to get there. She makes sure that campers have what they need. Ask her anything!

We really enjoyed Starlight Camping! The sites are attractive and nicely landscaped, the bathrooms are impeccably clean, and the showers are hot. It's much more a lovely, welcoming campground than a large RV park, which we really appreciated. The location was perfect for visiting sites around Kanab and for volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, just a short drive away. The campground host is wonderful—she even asked if we needed extra blankets on an unusually cold night. This is a fantastic place to stay in Kanab. Highly recommend!
