The lots are spacious and well-maintained. Enjoying the wildlife roaming through the RV park, today there was a deer eating, not afraid of us. The restroom facilities are clean and well kept. This is one of the better parks that we have ever visited. Another plus—are the shuttles taking visitors to all areas of the Grand Canyon trails free of charge! Trailer Village is one of our favorites and will be back.

Glad I canceled my Mathers campground reservation. This place was the best. If you are camping in a rv you will want to stay here. We had elk in our camp every day, a couple deer one day. I biked to the rim in 5 minutes everyday. Traveled across America this summer and this was my favorite stop.

A nice place to camp and the full hookup setup is just perfect. All sites are paved and graveled between. Some sites have shade while others are open to the Sun. There are picnic tables and the old style metal barbecues on a post so you can burn your hot dogs and hamburgers. Restroom facilities are the only reason that this is not five star. There are few of them and are often out of paper. Understandable as there are a lot of campers and the usage is probably fairly high. You need a reservation as this place does get full quickly. Check-in is real simple and the staff here are wonderful. This is the only full hookup campground in the park. The other one here for camping with an RV or trailer is a dry camp for all intents and purposes. You can take a bus from this RV park to the main visitor center and the area where the hotels and markets are. From there. You can often take buses that run on loops along the the rim road. The westbound rim road is shuttle bus only. The eastbound rim road is not served by shuttle bus and can be accessed only by car.

Nice and convenient RV park within the Grand Canyon National Park. Conveniently located within walking distance to the grocery store and other services. The deer and elk casually walk through the RV park and you can also walk to the canyon trail. The RV park has bathrooms with no showers.

Check-in was a breeze we came in late that evening. It was easy to navigate, and we were able to check in at their lodge per the emailed instructions. The site was un-level but that was no big deal we had our leveling blocks. Loved that the very next day we were able to go on a paved hike right to the canyon. This route would have also been bikeable. Before we packed up and left we saw some elk right in the campground. And on the way out we saw multiple deers. Beautiful park with beautiful wild life. Please drive slow and safe. If your not up to walking they have a wonderful in park bus system. Along with a medical clinic that appears to take most insurances. We almost had to use it for an allergic reaction.
