What better way to spend a weekend getaway than at Woody Mountain Campground! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into such a whimsical and charming atmosphere that instantly felt cozy, relaxing, and full of life. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable with their kindness and hospitality. I had the pleasure of interacting with Marie, who was such a breath of fresh air with her positive energy and warm personality. Heather the “Who” truly seems to be the glue holding this magical place together — always mingling, helping guests, and making everyone feel right at home. And her husband Chris? Hilarious. He was constantly cracking jokes and spreading smiles while helping around the campground. Our first night there featured a live singer with a guitar who absolutely blew us away with an amazing performance. Throughout the weekend there was never a dull moment — from BINGO nights and live music to cornhole tournaments and so many fun community events. You can really feel the heart and soul put into this place. The quaint little room we called home for the weekend had a beautiful Aspen-inspired theme and was incredibly clean, cozy, and inviting. Each morning we wandered over to the Woody Mountain Store, where you can grab delicious espresso drinks, coffee, fresh pastries, and other goodies. My personal favorite was the scone paired with “The Long Drive Home” coffee — the perfect way to start a mountain morning. Overall, Woody Mountain Campground is an absolute hidden gem and a must-stay destination. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, good people, live entertainment, or just a peaceful escape in the pines, this place has it all. Easily a 10/10 experience, and we already can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful campground up in the mountains in flagstaff. 7000 altitude. Lots of pine trees. Friendly staff helping us find our site and get settled. A friend with a 40” motorhome towing a car had a lot of trouble maneuvering down the narrow roads with pine trees very close to the road and in each campsite. We had to disconnect the car and finally got her into her site. Campground not good for very long rigs. The staff also was very nice and was with us through it all. They had a hard time getting back out of the spot and out of the campground. That site was supposed to be a pull through I think but the one end was too big an incline with rocks to get over. Way too hard. Had to back out. Also sites are very close. We didn’t pull up out side shade because people next to us were within a few feet of us with picnic table right outside. We enjoyed our stay with friends but won’t be back.

this is the nicest campground i have ever stayed in. the wine bar with live music was just the cherry on top. the facilities were nice and upkept with single private options for bathroom AND shower which i have never seen before in a campground. we were the perfect distance from the grand canyon, bearizona, and sedona. we WILL be back and staying in the remote over landing sites which i also have never seen at a campground. i wish i could give more than 5 stars!!

The RV park is tight in many areas. Be very aware of your spot. Our neighbors had all of our outdoor space and their guests were standing at our RV door. They done come reset the sites before you show up so we were just stuck with no space. Very upsetting. The ladies in the office were really nice but you could tell it was a struggle. We didn’t want to put any more burden on them. The laundry was great. The one time I terrors to use the bathroom it was clogged. It rained a ton and luckily we were at the top of the hill. The bottom of the hill was drenched. There is a cool hike in the campground!!

OK for one night. The shower room was nice and clean, but not much to say about the rest of the place especially for the price. We have spent less for parks that have paved spaces instead of dirt or cinder and nicer amenities all around. Most state parks are way nicer and less expensive. We remote camp most of the time in our class b so I guess this place was just an expensive upgrade from the forest.
