Arizona Steakhouse
Big windows facing the canyon set the scene for modern steakhouse fare, plus burgers & BBQ at lunch.
About
The Arizona Steakhouse sits inside the Bright Angel Lodge complex in Grand Canyon Village, and the big windows facing the rim do a lot of the work here — you're eating dinner with the canyon right outside the glass. It's earned a 4.0 rating from over 1,500 Google reviews, unusually strong for in-park dining, with reviewers consistently calling out attentive service from the same handful of servers by name.
What to order
This is a modern steakhouse menu built around cuts like rib eye, prime rib, New York strip, and beef tenderloin, plus an herb-crusted bison prime that comes up repeatedly in reviews. The bread basket with prickly pear butter gets mentioned almost as often as the steaks, and the hatch green chile mac and cheese has its fans too. At lunch the kitchen shifts toward burgers and BBQ, and gluten-free options are available.
- Hours: 11:30am-3:30pm and 4:30-9pm, daily
- Location: 10 Albright Ave, Grand Canyon Village, inside the Bright Angel Lodge area
- Good for: a sit-down dinner after a day on the Rim Trail, or a pre-sunset drink with a view
Reservations aren't always required — walk-ins with a short wait are common — but given the setting and the reviews, it's worth planning around rather than treating as a backup option.

This place was recommended by the pizza restaurant. When we arrived the only black person in there eyed us does as if we didn’t fit into the environment. We had just got done hiking the Grand Canyon, not sure what they’re expectations of dress code is supposed to be. My family of 4 got there and told us we needed a reservation and that they could fit us in at 8:45pm. We of course made the reservation and waited, as soon as we sat down in the waiting area the next “decent” looking couple were seated right away WITHOUT a reservation. To put into perspective we are Hispanic and the couple that went in were white. When we noticed they did that we complained right away. And got seated in one of their 10 open seating. It took 10 minutes for us to receive our drinks. And my husband asked for a cocktail, the bartender was on his phone or talking to the other people at the bar. If I could give this restaurant less than 1 star I would. We shouldn’t be judged by what we are wearing in a restaurant at the Grand Canyon out of all places. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you dressed casual or a person of color

Sorry to say but this was the worst experience. My steak was under cooked, and tough. Then they recooked it, steak was bone dry and inedible. I got the last filet and filet should not be tough for 65.00. The Mac and cheese was very dry, mashed potatoes didnt have enough garlic either, Ive made better at home out of a package. The salad was all stemmed greens making it inedible also as I wear dentures. I left hungry and upset after traveling 4.5 hrs for dinner. By the time we left I had to go to bed hungry since all the other restaurants were closed. We'd spent the day at the Grand Canyon and I was extremely disappointed. Ur walkways need lighting for safety and maybe ur kitchen does too so your cooks can see that the food they r preparing are less then a Western Sizzler quality for Gordan Ramsey prices! Ur bread was the only thing worth eating, service was ok, bad enough we didnt even leave a tip and we usually tip 25%. I asked for my steak medium well, pink, no blood and no blood touching my potatoes and it came soaked in blood originally because my steak was under cooked! Atmosphere was very casual for a menu with these prices. We came here to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and my daughter's proposal at the Grand Canyon! Not the place at all! Very poor lit walkways and unsafe!
