Canyon Club
Williams' late-night Route 66 dive, dollar bills and all
About
Walk into the Canyon Club on a Friday night and the first thing you'll notice is the money — hundreds of signed dollar bills stapled to the walls and ceiling, a Route 66 bar tradition that's been building here for years. This is Williams' late-night hangout, a laid-back dive on Railroad Avenue with pool tables, shuffleboard, dart boards, and karaoke that regulars and road-trippers alike keep coming back for.
What to expect
It's a no-frills bar, not a kitchen-forward stop — come for drinks, games, and the crowd rather than a menu. Reviewers consistently mention how welcoming the staff and regulars are to out-of-towners, with more than one visitor calling it the highlight of a Route 66 road trip. Weekend karaoke draws a full house, and the neon-lit, historic feel of the room fits the town around it.
- Rating: 4.6 stars from 544 Google reviews
- Price: budget-friendly ($)
- Hours: open daily 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Location: 126 W Railroad Ave, Williams — an easy walk from the historic downtown strip
Good spot to end a day in Williams before or after a Grand Canyon Railway trip, especially if you're the type who'll actually sing a karaoke song and sign a dollar bill to prove you were there.
