Downtown Flagstaff craft beer with a kitchen that pulls its weight
Downtown Flagstaff has no shortage of brewpubs, but Dark Sky Brewing stands out for the combination of house beer and a kitchen that's earning its own reputation. The space is clean and modern with a beer garden feel, walls carrying real artwork and personality, and a 4.4-star rating from over 300 reviews backing up the local buzz.
Reviewers keep circling back to the same short list: the gluten-free fried cheese curds, the fish and chips, and fries with beer cheese. The kitchen marks gluten-free and vegetarian options directly on the menu, which is worth knowing if you're traveling with dietary restrictions — this isn't an afterthought here. The beer lineup gets consistent praise as solid, well-made craft brews, and the drink menu extends past beer to cocktails like an espresso martini.
It's a solid stop for a post-hike meal or an evening out after a day at the canyon — casual enough for a quick bite, with enough on the menu to make a full dinner of it.

We always try the other side, so we decided to give Atmosphere a try. We got wings and a salad. Both were great, wings a bit too crispy to my taste, but that's just my personal preference. The salad was delicious and the beers are great as always. The patio is really nice, even at a hot day in Flagstaff.

After driving over 10 hour and then had to take an almost 2 hr detour to get to Flagstaff because I-40 was close we spent the night in Flagstaff, my wife and two kids age 15 and 16 went to DSB around 8:45 PM and was denied service because our kids were under to 21, the guy recommended we go next door to their pizza restaurant. I mean why? Both place served alcohol and both places served food, just different menu items, had I known I would’ve never even wasted my time driving there.
