About

Dark Sky Brewing Co. sits on N Beaver St in downtown Flagstaff, a low-key stop after a long day on the South Rim, about 80 miles north. With a 4.3 rating from over 1,000 Google reviews, it's built a following for inventive house-brewed beers and pub fare that's a notch above typical brewery food.

What to expect

The setup is a little unusual: food and drinks come from two connected businesses sharing the same industrial-cool space, but reviewers say it runs smoothly. Beer flights are a popular way in, and the free tasting samples get repeat mentions. Reviewers single out the confit wings and pork belly tater tots, a schnitzel sandwich, and tikka masala fries as standouts, alongside hazy IPAs and other house creations poured at the bar.

Good to know

  • Hours: open daily, noon to 10 PM
  • Setting: industrial-style interior with a dog-friendly outdoor garden and patio
  • Location: 117 N Beaver St, downtown Flagstaff, next to the Residence Inn

It's an easy, unpretentious pick for a post-canyon meal or a couple of pints before dinner elsewhere downtown — come hungry, since portions and prices lean toward the generous side.

This is one of our go two spots whenever we are in Flagstaff. It is located downtown and usually pretty easy to get into. The pizza from Pizzicleta is so good! We also love their Caesar salad. The beer from dark sky is really tasty. The one thing that’s never good. Here is the service. You get one server from the brewery and one from the pizzeria. So you have two different tabs. Which is fine. But nobody seems to like really want to take care of you and provide great service. It’s a lively environment. They have large high top tables so you usually end up sharing with other people unless you sit at the bar I’ll keep going back for the food though.

Ok. I'm an out of towner. Let me get this straight. I'm in the brewery which serves pizza but it's a different business so if I order pizza and a beer I have 2 bills with 2 tips. Ok. I'll just take my beer and enjoy the patio. Sorry. Same brewery different liquor license. You have to drink modelyour beer and cash out before you can go outside and order your next beer. And don't forget outside has a different menu which you can't get on the inside. Who set up this business model

The pizza here is so awesome but the service staff and hostess are awful! If I was the owner I would wander in and witness the lack of enthusiasm and blatant disregard for the customer experience. If I can give then zero stars I would do it.
