About

dj's Wild West Junction leans hard into its name — a rustic Old West-themed inn on Route 66 with a saloon, a barbecue restaurant, and live music, right in the heart of Williams. It's the kind of stop that's as much about the scene as the plate: a goofy skeleton-filled courtyard for photos, western-front architecture, and a bar staff that isn't shy about pouring a strong drink in the middle of the day.

What to expect

The kitchen turns out barbecue standards — ribs, brisket, pulled pork, roasted chicken — alongside sirloin steaks and daily specials like a Tuesday combo deal. Reviewers single out the ribs falling off the bone and call weekend promotions like a Valentine's Day rack-and-brisket platter a genuine deal. With a 4-star rating from 565 Google reviews, the food and Old West atmosphere are the consistent draws, though a handful of reviews flag inconsistent service, so expect some hit-or-miss nights along with the good ones.

  • Hours: open daily, 11 AM – 9 PM
  • Price range: $$
  • Address: 321 E Route 66, Williams, AZ

A solid pick for a casual dinner and a drink while exploring Williams' historic downtown, especially if a bit of Old West kitsch and live music sound like your speed.

The food was well made and delicious, but it really shines with its theming and service! My family and I unfortunately came right as they were getting ready to close, but they were beyond kind despite our mistake. We left as soon as we could so that they could close but they gave us no pressure and were very nice. I would love to come back during the afternoon and truly enjoy the place! It had a great theme of wild West and the whole outside looks like an old town, which looks absolutely phenomenal. As it looks to be family owned, it's fantastic!

We didn’t stay at the hotel but stopped for lunch while exploring Williams & historic Route 66. Lunch was GREAT! Also got to chat with some friendly locals who shared the backstory of the town & best places to check out while in town. There’s a goofy skeleton courtyard with other shops to take photos! Friendly bartender who knew how to make a good strong 1:00pm drink. 😉
