Grand Canyon Village, AZ

About

Drigo's Restaurant has become the breakfast-and-brunch spot South Rim visitors ask each other about, holding a 4.5-star rating across 348 reviews. Tucked into Grand Canyon Village along AZ-64, it's an easy stop before or after a day on the rim, though the sign hides behind the patio umbrellas — worth watching for.

What to order

Reviewers keep coming back for the fresh, made-from-scratch feel: chilaquiles, tamales and homemade salsa made with flavorful masa, plus a Mexican omelette and avocado toast that regulars call some of the best food in the whole Grand Canyon area. The chicken wings with habanero sauce get singled out too, and the French toast and bacon-and-egg breakfast sandwich have their own following. A dog-friendly patio with tables and umbrellas makes it a relaxed setting to linger over the meal.

  • Hours: daily, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Location: 469 AZ-64 Ste B, Grand Canyon Village
  • Good to know: popular enough to draw a wait, and prices run a bit higher than a typical diner

Service gets consistent praise for being attentive without hovering — a nice touch in a town built around quick tourist turnarounds. If you want a real meal instead of a grab-and-go breakfast before hitting the trail, this is the place to build extra time into your morning for.

we were a party of 2 . 80 dollars , I took a salad and water . my husband was hungry after a big hike and took 8 tacos ( very small ) and 2 beers . We were looking for a “not a tourist trap “ place but the prices tells a different story . We paid the same amount at gordon ramsey’s hell’s kitchen . If you are at Tusayan and looking for something not expensive avoid this place

Great food! We weren't sure what to expect being so close to the park but we were pleasantly surprised! We had chilaquiles, burgers, and french toast, and they had good options for my son who has a gluten sensitivity. The waiter was kind and attentive, definitely give it a try!

Great view with great customer service. Breakfast potato though, kinda salty or maybe just my taste buds.
