International small plates & sandwiches served in a lively & laid-back venue with global wines.
Tucked upstairs in a historic downtown Flagstaff building, FLG Terroir is a wine bar and bistro built around global bottles and small plates meant for sharing. It's earned a 4.7-star rating across 339 reviews — a serious showing for a bar-and-bistro spot — with regulars praising the long, dimly lit room and a kitchen that keeps cooking well past most Flagstaff kitchens' closing time.
The mushroom risotto and mushroom Alfredo pasta come up again and again as reviewer favorites, alongside oversized meatballs, tomato pie, oysters, and steak. On the wine side, bottles are available by the glass or you can buy one to open at the table for a $10 corkage fee — a nice option for anyone who wants to dig into the list without committing to a full bottle blind. One reviewer singled out a cava-based house cocktail with pronounced clove notes as an unexpected standout.
It's a favorite for a reason, though a few recent reviews flag slower service on busy nights — worth knowing if you're on a tight schedule before a show or an early drive back to the South Rim.

Hard to find off the street, climb two stories of stairs, all food and beverage have to be ordered at the bar, wines from other countries. Did not like the wine selections. Food was ok.
