We love these accommodations. The location is perfect. The staff is wonderful. We especially enjoyed the treatment we received from their front end staff. Especially Jared and Amberlee, who gave us excellent advice on things to do and see. Today is the third night out of the five we are staying. Tonight's dinner, creamy mushroom chicken, was excellent, as were all the meals, except the one this morning. On May 27th we had breakfast in the main dinng room. We had eggs with biscuits and gravy. The eggs were ok, but the gravy was too dry and stiff to be enjoyable. The waitress Margot was wonderful. She attempted to salvage it, but it was unsalvageable. I am still giving five stars to this wonderful resort. I don't believe that one serving of bad gravy should ruin a recommendation. However, we want this to be a warning to the reader. Do not order the biscuits and gravy. We especially enjoyed the custom lemonade. Especially the raspberry. So far we've had this drink every night. We will definitely come again. If we have the chance. We should also mention that Claire, Dennis and Maggie were superb.
We were on our out of North Rim and had heard about the baked goods so did a quick stop. This place did not disappoint! Cute...cute...cute. Whether you are looking for fresh pastries (my hubby said it was the freshest he'd ever tasted), cookies, a meal, t-shirts or beautiful Native American pottery/jewelry, etc., this is the place.
We stopped for another wonderful night at the Jacob Lake Inn. This time we experienced car issues and needed to extend our stay another night. The staff was incredible accommodating and extended our reservation. Mark, maintenance, assisted us in finding a place to take our car and even called ahead to let them know we were on our way.
An extra night meant additional yummy meals in the restaurant! It turned into an unexpected vaca!
We are a family of 8, on a Tauck Tour. This is by far the best food we’ve had so far, over 5 days, what a treat! Should probably warn guests about the size of the milk shakes! OMG are they big……and fabulous, and we had several flavors! The sandwich bread is homemade, and all of them are superb. Family owned, from forever, I think 1927, and it shows. Our waiter was Paul, and he was great! If you’re in this neck of the woods, and don’t stop in here, you are making a mistake!

This is a nice rustic summer get away. Beautiful scenery. Great place to stay if you are visiting northern Arizona. The cafe is filled with stunning Native paintings, photography and Navajo rugs with a booklet to learn about the rugs. Our family enjoyed flipping through this guide book and trying to identify the kids of rugs that were hanging up. Very friendly service. Fantastic bakery with delicious cookies and pastries. The milkshakes were also very good. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evening in very comfortable chairs. The visitors center was great for the kids to learn about the area. We enjoyed bird watching here as well. Definitely recommend visiting here
