About

Miss Kitty's Steakhouse & Bar sits right on Route 66 in Williams, and it's earned a 4.3-star rating from 250 reviews as one of the town's better dinner stops after a day at the canyon. The decor leans rustic-chic — solid wood tables, a well-stocked bar, exposed character — dressy enough for a night out but relaxed enough for hikers who just rolled in off the trail.

What to order

This is a steakhouse first, and reviewers consistently point to the chargrilled ribeye as the standout, usually ordered with a choice of rub, sauce, and two sides — the Yukon gold mash and charred corn esquites both get called out. Starters like the salmon dip and mussels in white wine and bacon show up in reviews too, along with a pan-roasted salmon and a fried chicken sandwich. Breakfast is also served, including chicken and waffles, though reviewers rate the dinner menu higher than the morning one. The bar makes a proper dirty martini and has a solid cocktail list if you're settling in for drinks.

Good to know

  • Location: 642 E Route 66, Williams — walkable from the historic downtown strip
  • Hours: breakfast 7–10 AM daily, dinner 4–8 or 9 PM depending on the night
  • Reservations: accepted and worth making on busy evenings

Service gets singled out often in reviews, with staff praised for genuine, attentive recommendations. Prices run in normal steakhouse territory — plan on it being a proper sit-down dinner, not a quick bite.

I did love the vibe of Miss Kitty’s. The name alone is great. Service is great. We sat at the bar and truly enjoyed Sue’s company. There is a good cocktail menu. Loved the mezcal Negroni. Well stocked bar. Food was okay. I truly dislike when people put sugar in salad dressing- especially a Caesar salad. I picked at it but did not enjoy it. The Brussel sprouts for a share plate were tasty. It was a Thursday and we came for the live music. There was no live music. Whaaaa whaaa. Another bummer. We would still go back. For the vibes, the Negroni and Sue.

ONE OF if not the BEST steak/meals I have ever had! I got the tri tip with black chili coffee rub, goat cheese mashed potatoes and charred corn esquires!! WTFFFFFF! it was "I'll have what shes having" with EVERY BITE. ESPECIALLY when I ate a piece of steak with the corn and the potatoes together. Chefs kiss. Give this place a Michelin star NOW! (ps- also had the chips and salsa and wedge salad. both excellent as well. The wedge was elite! )
