Only In Kanab

Kanab's cult-favorite burger stand, worth timing your trip around

About

Only In Kanab is a food-truck-style burger stand on the main drag through town, and it has quietly become one of the most talked-about meals in the Grand Canyon region. With a 4.9 rating across 550 reviews, it's not hyperbole to say people plan their Kanab stop around it. The menu leans playful — burgers named things like the Hog Canyon and the Little Hollywood, the latter finished with a hot pepper jelly that reviewers keep coming back to — alongside dirty fries and a fry sauce locals rave about. Seating is outside around the truck, with shade if you'd rather not eat in the car.

Good to know

  • Hours: Friday through Sunday only, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM — closed Monday through Thursday, so plan your Kanab stop accordingly.
  • Expect a line during peak weekend hours; everything's cooked to order, and regulars say the wait is part of the deal.
  • Order: the Moqui burger and the Little Hollywood are the two most-mentioned standouts, alongside the dirty fries.

It's a straightforward stop if you're routing through Kanab on the way to or from the North Rim, Zion, or the Vermilion Cliffs — just build it into a Friday-Sunday visit rather than a weekday pass-through.

If your just passing through, don't make the mistake of getting any of the fast food when this burger- food truck is here. Seriously good burgers. Worth the 15 minutes wait. Stretch, get gas, break. Muenster cheese, crispy bacon. Awesome.

These hamburgers were INCREDIBLE!! We ordered the Little Hollywood, the Hog Canyon, and the Kanab Burger, and I could write a page about how good each one was. The burger itself was so fresh and juicy and then all of the toppings on each one made it even more delicious. You…must…eat…here!!! The owner even came out to check on us as we ate at the picnic tables, and he could not have been more genuine and dedicated to his craft.

Oh my. This was our first time having an Only in Kanab burger. We have heard about them for a while and decided to go try them! I had the Little Hollywood which has a schmeer of peanut butter with crunchy bacon bits mixed in and a nice amount of pepper jelly to add to the deliciousness of this seemingly unlikely combination. All of their burgers are made fresh from the local butcher. My husband had the spicy Belly of the Dragon which he thoroughly enjoyed. We shared a generous helping of nice and salty, freshly fried fries. If a unique gourmet burger is your jam, you’ve got to try Only in Kanab!

Chef will happily provide modifications exactly to your preference and go the extra mile. If your in town over the weekend skip the fast food. Go here.
