Pine Country Restaurant
Changing menu of homemade pies & a variety of homey comfort foods in a nostalgic cafe & gift shop.
About
Pine Country Restaurant is a family-run diner and bakery on Williams' main drag, the kind of spot locals and road-trippers both end up at because the pie case by the register is impossible to walk past. It's a nostalgic setup — 50s/60s-style booths, a gift shop up front, and a changing menu of homemade pies alongside classic comfort food.
What to order
Reviewers keep coming back to the pie — one called it "exceptional," enough to save an otherwise so-so meal. On the savory side, the pan-fried Pollock (served with fries and a side salad) gets singled out as the standout dinner plate, and the chicken fried steak has fans too. Breakfast draws praise as well, with waffles and perfectly cooked bacon and eggs mentioned by more than one visitor. Portions run generous, and dinner entrees typically come with two sides — the loaded potato is worth choosing over the canned-tasting corn.

Service is a strong point too — Sergio is one server reviewers have called out by name for being attentive and quick with the food. It's straightforward diner cooking done well, and a smart stop if you're passing through Williams on the way to or from the South Rim.

Wonderful as usual. We had the Country Fried steak.and the Chicken Parm. Came out quickly! Our server (don't think he said his name), took us to the pie display and helped is pick piece of pie. We had cherry chocolate dip, peanut butter cream, and double chocolate.
