Rustic 66 sushi & Grill
Sushi and comfort food side by side on Route 66
About
Don't let the name fool you — Rustic 66 Sushi & Grill on Williams' main drag is doing a lot more than sushi. It's a small, clean, welcoming spot along Route 66 that's built a 4.8-star rating from 58 reviews on the strength of a menu that swings from fresh rolls to burgers to a scratch-made mac and cheese kids actually fight over.
What to order
The sushi itself gets singled out repeatedly by reviewers as some of the best they've had, with the Love Boat and Canyon Roll drawing particular praise for presentation and portion size. But the kitchen isn't a one-trick operation — a shoestring-fries burger, a salmon and spinach salad with candied walnuts and feta, and Korean wings all show up in the same glowing reviews. Families with picky eaters have room to work with here, which isn't always true at a sushi counter.
- Rating: 4.8 stars (58 Google reviews)
- Hours: 11 AM–9 PM Monday–Saturday, closed Sunday
- Seating: indoor dining room plus a patio
It's a solid pick for a Williams dinner stop before or after a Grand Canyon Railway run, especially if your group can't agree on sushi versus something more familiar.

Horrific, Honestly, I’m still trying to work out how we managed to spend £80 on takeaway food and somehow ended up wishing we’d just had toast. We ordered the adult ramen portions. I genuinely dread to think what the kids’ portions look like — probably served in a thimble. The portions were ridiculously small, and unfortunately the flavour was equally absent. The ramen was genuinely vile. The chicken was dry, tasteless lumps of meat, the carrots were basically raw, and the mushrooms looked extremely questionable. The broth itself was flavourless and unpleasant. And then came the eggs. Grey eggs that absolutely STANK. We couldn’t eat them. At that point dinner had become less of a meal and more of an investigation. I also ordered the cucumber salad. Sounds harmless, right? Apparently not. It was covered in fish, which wasn’t stated on the menu, and when I opened the container the smell was absolutely horrific. I’m talking open-the-container-and-immediately-question-your-life-choices levels of rotten fish. Straight in the bin. The mac and cheese and fries weren’t much better. The mac and cheese tasted like the cheapest supermarket packet imaginable, and the fries were bland and horrible and somehow even they had picked up the revolting fish smell. So, £80 later, we had thrown a significant portion of the food in the bin and were left wondering what exactly we’d paid for. What makes this even more concerning is that after the meal we looked into the establishment’s food hygiene history and found some very concerning inspection information, particularly relating to food handling. That really isn’t something you want to discover after you’ve eaten food from somewhere. Also got an out of date drink to top it off At this point we’re just hoping we don’t end up spending the next few days becoming intimately acquainted with the bathroom. £80 for tiny portions, terrible food and a side of anxiety. What a bargain.
