Relaxed, low-key stop at the Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn serves pub grub, beer & cocktails.
Squire Pub + Social is the bar-and-grill inside the Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn in Grand Canyon Village — a low-key spot to land after a day on the rim, with a bar pouring beer and cocktails alongside a straightforward pub menu. It's not trying to be a destination restaurant, and that's kind of the point: it's a reliable option in a town where dining choices thin out fast once the sun goes down.
The menu leans classic pub grub — pizza, chicken tenders, fish and chips, quesadillas — and reviewers are split on execution. Fans point to the fish and chips and a corn quesadilla as standouts, and more than one review calls out genuinely attentive service. Others found the kitchen slow or inconsistent, especially during rushes. With a 3.6 rating from 359 Google reviews, it lands solidly in the "decent, dependable" category rather than a must-visit.
Given how limited South Rim dining options are outside the historic village restaurants, it's a fair bet for pub food and a beer without needing a reservation — just go in with modest expectations and you'll likely leave satisfied.

Nathan’s honestly the only reason we stayed! He talked us into the phenomenal food and drinks and boy was he right! Please if you’re here or going to visit the Grand Canyon , please come by and get drinks you will not regret! Nathan needs a raise for real

The worst customer service

The food was good, but what made the difference was the service. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The bartender, Nathan, went above and beyond for my kid who won’t eat anything other than chicken tenders. He made a few calls and made it happen! Such a family friendly environment. Will definitely be back.

We spent one night at the Squire and arrived late unfortunately. The pub was the only place open late enough for food and drinks. Nathan was an awesome bartender. Made us better margaritas than we were served at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas! Food was great too.
