If it's shut when you arrive, Maswik Lodge is the nearest alternative for a quick grab-and-go breakfast before a morning hike, and the sit-down restaurant inside Bright Angel Lodge is another option nearby.

This was so fun to go to. It's hidden behind a really neat gift store. It is primarily a bar but food is great and the staff was exceedingly accommodating. There is an old west themed playground off the patio. It was eclectic and fun for all of us.

The Fountain is closed for remodeling. Google Maps hours are not accurate, it is closed. Was there Monday March 2, 2026. If you plan to get a quick grab n go breakfast before your morning hike, the only place to go is Maswik Lodge. The only takeout available at the restaurant inside Bright Angel Lodge is coffee; it is otherwise sit-down only. NPS needs to update their website to say it is closed for remodeling, rather than open seasonally, and update the hours posted on Google Maps.

The first afternoon we went they ran out of all their ice cream an hour before they closed. The second time we went was in the middle of the day, and they were out of half of their ice cream.

Small take out restaurant. Most affordable place in the Grand Canyon. The have coffee in the morning with grab and go breakfast items that include breakfast burritos, yogurts, and coffee. They also have sandwiches that are grab and go along with ice cream! You can not get things to order everything is premade but very yummy!

Not much for vegetarians. We got chips and left the overripe bananas on the shelf.
