Flagstaff's downtown bar for live music and a cold pint
Yucca North is a downtown Flagstaff brewery and bar with a stage, a roomy floor, and a regular lineup of live music — locals treat it as an Eastside hangout more than a tourist stop, which is part of the appeal after a day at the canyon. Reviewers rate it 4.3 stars from over 200 ratings, and more than a few mention catching a touring band here on a whim.
The space is big and open, with a stage that hosts bands on a regular basis and decor that leans into local character — one reviewer singled out an NPS-style logo sign over the kitchen. Staff get consistent praise for being friendly and helpful, and the crowd tends to be a mix of regulars and out-of-towners in for a show. Food is available alongside the drink menu, which has surprised a few first-timers.
It's a solid pick for an evening in Flagstaff when you want a drink, maybe some food, and a chance at live music rather than another quiet hotel bar.

What on earth happened? Used to be one of my favorite spots in town, with the best selection of spirits and craft beer. Now it looks like they got robbed. There are college bars with better selections. Maybe a new direction for Yucca, but I don't like it.
