Bucket list...check! I will share this. If you are disabled or traveling with someone that is. Tell them at the front gate when entering. You will have given access to drive with the buses to see the south rim. I was shocked the rangers didn't offer it or give a map upon entering. I saw older people struggling getting on and off the buses and with limited mobility. Also, if you are disabled you are able to get a national park pass for free.

South rim has more magnificent views than north rim, but north rim is cooler and less crowded.

Do not purchase this self driving tour! Never on it does it tell you you need to have Wi-Fi to download it before you get to the Grand Canyon. We were already there and we’re not able to use it.
