The South Rim Visitor Center theater, at the east end of the main visitor center building, screens a rotating set of short park films on a loop throughout the day, free of charge. The flagship feature is Grand Canyon: A Journey of Wonder, a 24-minute orientation film produced by the National Park Service and Aperture Films that follows the canyon from rim to river and dawn to dusk, covering its geology and human history alongside current conservation efforts.
