We did the 8:30 AM tour stopping for sandboarding, Peek-A-Boo Canyons and the Great Chambers. Our tour guide Zach was knowledgeable and fun and did great taking picturess for us. This was worth every penny for the tour. Zach gave us great history behind the Peek-A-Boo Canyons and our 4 kids were loving the history he was providing. He went at a great pace and when my father (72 years old) was falling behind, Zach made sure all of our party was still together. If you are near the Kanab area, I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was my favorite part of our week long trip. We even got to see cows grazing the land and it was neat seeing them going through the land.
We had an awesome experience on our combo UTV tour! Jacey was our guide and he was funny, knowledgeable and great with kids (there were two in our group and they were his mini tour guides). He did a little sand and water demonstration for the kids (and adults!) about how the sandstone rocks formed over millions of years. He also took such awesome photos of us. Would recommend for anyone who wants a fun way to see some unique spots.
We did the Half Day’er tour with Roam Outdoor (Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon, Great Chamber, and Hoodoos + sand sledding add-on), and it was an absolute blast from start to finish.
The whole experience was awesome—off-roading out to the sites in the Can-Am UTVs, hiking through the slot canyon, seeing the hoodoos up close, climbing up into the Great Chamber, and finishing it off with sand sledding. Every stop felt unique and worth it, and the scenery is just unreal.
Our guide Clayton really made the experience for us. He was super knowledgeable about the area, kept things fun and engaging, and did a great job making sure everyone—kid included—was safe and comfortable the entire time. We had our 6-year-old with us and she loved it, which says a lot. Big thanks to Clayton for making it such a memorable day!
A couple helpful tips for anyone going:
You can bring your own booster seat, but only the bottom portion so the harness fits properly (and it will get dirty).
Bring a neck gaiter (or buy one there)—you will eat dust without it.
Wear shoes you don’t mind getting sandy.
Overall, this was one of those “don’t skip this” experiences if you’re in the area. Perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and family-friendly fun. Would 100% do it again.
Had such a wonderful experience horseback riding in the early evening. Such calm and friendly horses (mostly retired from ranch work). Our guide was really welcoming and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the ranch we rode up through (Caves Lake Canyon), which in itself was a stunning place to visit. We had the best time and would thoroughly recommend this adventure.
My son and I went to the Great Chamber and Peekaboo Canyon. We had the best time!!!! Our guide was great! I didn’t catch his name. I just knew his last name was Miller (no relation) and was an outdoor fireman. He made the tour so much fun! The roads had just been washed out and we had to fill in areas to get across… but we had so much fun doing it. I would highly recommend using this company over any others. This wasn’t my first company, on comparison ROAM was the best!
