The RedStone Theater
Kanab's downtown stage for live music, film, and western shows
About
The RedStone Theater is Kanab's home for live music, theater, and film, a restored downtown venue that pulls double duty as a small-town cultural anchor and a genuine reason to spend an evening in town before or after a North Rim run. Regulars point to the Bar G Wranglers western music show as a longtime crowd favorite, alongside the annual Kanab Film Fest and Food Frenzy, live theater productions, and rotating movie nights.
What to expect
- An intimate, retro-charm auditorium with comfortable seating and a solid sound system
- A classic marquee and old-fashioned popcorn machine that lean into the venue's vintage feel
- A mix of programming, from concerts and stage shows to film screenings and community events
- An Airbnb unit above the theater for those who want to stay right downtown
With a 4.3-star rating from over 30 reviews, it's a well-liked stop for travelers looking for something to do after a day at Grand Canyon's North Rim, Zion, or the Wave. Since programming changes by the week, check the RedStone Theater website for the current schedule and tickets before you go.

We stayed in the Airbnb above the movie theater. It was nice, the bed had a firm mattress so that was firmer than what we are used to. The room is small but it's nice and fits our needs just fine.

Had a great time at the Fleetwood Visions concert tonight. The band was amazing and Dan and the rest of the theater staff was great!

Has an interesting charming interior design. Authentic wooden front entranceway. Cozy yet spacious theater for viewing the classics films or theatrical productions.
