About

Continental Country Club sits below Mount Elden on the north side of Flagstaff, a public course that's been in play since 1960 when architect Bob E. Baldock laid it out among the pines at over 7,000 feet. It's one of only two public courses in Flagstaff proper, and long-time locals treat it as the area's default round.

What golfers say

Reviewers rate the conditioning highly and appreciate that it stays open to walk-ins and visitors rather than members-only play. The layout is described as fair but not a pushover, with tree-lined fairways narrowing the driving lanes and greens that reward a good short game. A handful of reviewers mention the mountain views from the back nine as a highlight.
