About

Lake Powell National Golf Course is Page's championship course, built in 1995 on a bluff above the lake with fairways that run right up against red-rock rim and views out to Glen Canyon Dam and the Vermilion Cliffs. At 7,030 yards from the tips, it's a legitimate par-72 test, but the scenery is the real draw for most visitors passing through on their way to Antelope Canyon or Horseshoe Bend.

What golfers say

Reviewers rate it 4.5 stars and consistently point to the value — well-groomed fairways and greens at a fraction of what comparable desert-view courses charge elsewhere in Arizona. Several holes bring blind shots and hidden desert hazards that catch first-timers off guard, so playing a cart-mounted GPS or asking the pro shop for local knowledge pays off. Mulligan's Pub & Grill sits at the clubhouse with a patio looking back over the course and the lake beyond.

  • Length: 7,030 yards, par 72
