Sedona Golf Resort
About
Sedona Golf Resort is the course most visitors picture when they imagine golf in red-rock country. Designed by Gary Panks and set in the Village of Oak Creek just south of Sedona proper, the par-71 layout runs 6,646 yards with Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock as a backdrop on nearly every hole.
What golfers say
The course carries a consistent four-star rating from Golf Digest and shows up on nearly every list of Arizona's must-play public courses. The par-3 10th, played toward the red rocks, is one of the most photographed golf holes in the western United States, and reviewers repeatedly mention stopping mid-round just to take pictures. Conditioning draws steady praise, with fairways and greens kept in resort shape year-round.
