Getting Oriented

Located within the South Rim's developed Grand Canyon Village area, not out in the backcountry. It sits along the route campers and RVers use to walk or bike toward the rim and visitor services, linking Trailer Village to Mather Campground, Market Plaza, and the Visitor Center area near Mather Point.

This is a marked pedestrian crossing on the road network at Trailer Village, the paved RV campground on the South Rim near Grand Canyon Village. It's a practical waypoint rather than a destination hike: a spot where the campground's internal road meets foot and bike traffic moving along the paved Grand Canyon Greenway Trail.
