Canyon Country Inn
Low-key B&B featuring airy, casual rooms with quilts, plus a Victorian-style lounge.
About
Canyon Country Inn is a low-key bed and breakfast right on Route 66 in downtown Williams, with airy, casual rooms done up in quilts and a Victorian-style lounge for lingering over coffee. It's a budget-friendly base for a Grand Canyon or Flagstaff trip, and its biggest selling point is location: guests consistently point to how easy it is to walk to restaurants and shops in Williams' historic center.
What to expect
This is a small, older-building inn, not a chain hotel, and reviews reflect that trade-off. Several guests describe clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a friendly owner; others report inconsistent housekeeping and thin walls between rooms. Rooms come with a TV, small fridge, and microwave, and outlets can be scarce, so packing a power strip is a smart move. With a 4.0 rating from 357 Google reviews, it lands as a solid, no-frills option rather than a polished boutique stay.
- Location: 442 W Route 66, Williams — walkable to downtown dining and shops
- Amenities: free parking, front porch seating outside rooms, in-room TV, mini fridge, microwave
- Good for: travelers prioritizing price and a walkable downtown base over resort-style amenities
Book this one for the Route 66 location and value, not for a luxury stay — it works best for travelers who don't mind a simpler, older property in exchange for being steps from Williams' main strip.

We were supposed to stay for 5 nights, but we ended up staying only one. Upon arrival, the door code provided was incorrect. We had to wait outside in the cold for about 30 minutes before receiving a new one, as the response time was very slow. Once inside, we noticed that the sheets were not clean. The room was also very small, with a sink directly in the bedroom, making it quite uncomfortable for two people. The worst part was the noise. Between trucks honking in the middle of the night and the extremely poor sound insulation with the neighboring room, we could hear absolutely everything (footsteps, TV, even someone plugging in a phone charger). It felt like the noise was coming from inside our own room. Overall, the stay was not restful at all. I would not recommend this place.

For bed and breakfast it was pretty cool and head double sized bunk beds.... The shower was strange.. the toilet was actually in the shower... There was a curtain that separated it sort of....

The cutest little country inn!!! It’s a cheaper option so you get what you pay for, but it’s easily accessible and walkable to the town center. I’ve stayed here twice already and I would definitely stay here again.
