Stopped by for a night while passing through. This was an excellent stay. The building is unique and not typical of your average Comfort Inn. This place has a very log cabin woodsy theme. You can see the breakfast area from the second floor at an overlook. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet at night. We had a little mountain view from our window. We got in late so went right to sleep. My partner especially appreciated that the doors have anti-shim plates. Check in was fast and the front desk woman was friendly and accommodating. There were people in the pool when we arrived so it might be open late. Parking lot was set back a bit off the road, plenty of parking. There's a fitness room which we did not use. Nice front doors that automatically opened which was convenient. There's a covered drop off area by the front door. The breakfast was the highlight of the trip. This was a full breakfast I would say. Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, breads, bagels, flavored muffins, yogurts. They even had cheese slices on ice! They also had a coffee bar which also had tea and hot chocolate packets as well as instant oatmeal packs. The breakfast area is large. The tables had syrup, jelly, and salt and pepper as if it was a restaurant. The manager as closely monitoring the breakfast and the breakfast attendant was constantly restocking things that weren't even out. The breakfast area also had couches and a fireplace, along with restrooms. The theming and the breakfast really sets this hotel apart from others. This was our first hotel out of 4 choice hotels we stayed at between Arizone and Ohio and this was our favorite by far. We will return when we come back for the Grand Canyon in the future!
