We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. One of the things we appreciated the most was that it has two separate buildings, including an adults-only building, which made for a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel was spotless, and the rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need. We also appreciated the complimentary bottled water in the refrigerator after a long day of traveling. Our room even had a small balcony, which was a lovely bonus.
The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options to choose from.
The location is perfect. It’s just next to the park and within walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets, and a laundromat, making everything incredibly convenient.
The only downside was that one afternoon there were very noisy roadworks taking place right outside our room for several hours. We understand that this was completely beyond the hotel’s control, but we would have appreciated being informed in advance so we could have planned our day accordingly instead of being in the room during the loudest part of the work.
Other than that, we had an excellent experience and would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for a weekend and had a good time. It's super close to the National Park entrance and only takes about 10 minutes to be inside the park with minimal traffic (depending on when you go, I suppose). The room was clean and spacious, and I got a standard 2 queen room. I opted in for the room cleaning between the days, and it was done before I came back on the second day after an early end to my trip (it had begun thunderstorming). The breakfast had a decent variety - coffee, ham and veggie omelets, bread, muffins, yogurts, fruits, cereals, and juices. All in all, a good stay!
This is an interesting property - the frame surely must have been a budget hotel previously (I think even some descriptions for the hotel refer to Grand Canyon Hotel and Suites as a "budget" option), but Xanterra did a great job of renovating it to classy standards. Bathrooms and all in-room furniture, decor, and appliances were refurbished to be modern and comfortable. Nothing reminded of the budget level other than room size and straight hallways. We didn't know how accessible will be dining options in the area, so brought some food with us and put the mini-fridge and microwave to use during our stay. The swimming pool and hot tub were clean and appreciated after spending the days outdoors. The hotel is using pumps for shampoo and soap and they were full (which is a rarity in my experience as a business traveler). Some reviews complain that the breakfast had limited options, but the hotel informs upfront that it is continental with no hot items and it sends you a 20% off coupon for a restaurant across the road that serves hot breakfasts. We found the choice of breakfast items very adequate - yogurts, fruit, pastries, bagels, etc. Even more impressive was the breakfast service turnover. The hotel is VERY busy with breakfast room full from 6:00 am through the end, yet the staff keeps all items replenished continuously and each table is cleaned promptly when vacated. This may also explain why the hotel doesn't do hot items - it would be physically impossible to serve those well to hundreds of people daily. The breakfast team deserves thanks and recognition for their excellence - we observed and enjoyed it several days in a row. The location of the hotel is great - even though it is outside of the park, it is literally minutes to Grand Canyon. One day we were already able to complete a hike on Bright Angel trail and went over for lunch before the the time train arrived with people from Williams. Even though it not inexpensive to stay at this hotel, we found it to be totally worth it and think the management team and staff are doing a great job keeping it comfortable and clean despite the huge number of people who circulate through the hotel daily.
The property itself is fine and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a large modern TV with decent selection of channels. The internet was above average for hotel. Plenty of hot water and pressure and the room was very clean. Fridge and microwave are very helpful, and I appreciate the USB port in addition to wall plugins. Breakfast was decent but very basic. It was adequate for a light start to the day. Pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained. I don't appreciate them sending me three text messages and emails every day of our four-day stay reminding us to eat at what must be their partner restaurant across the street. I gave them my phone number for business purposes and not to be spammed during my entire stay. We finally opted out. The local area is convenient for the Grand Canyon (about 10 minutes), but everything is extremely expensive. Only grocery store is about 3-4 times the prices of other locations. If possible bring some groceries and plenty of snacks if you have kids, and that will save you a lot of money.

The toilet was loose and moved when someone sat on it, which felt unsafe and unsanitary. The sink was clogged and drained very slowly. The toilet water appeared yellow, which was concerning. Most concerning of all, when we turned on the shower, chunks of debris came out of the faucet before the water ran normally.
The staff was friendly and provided good service, which I appreciated. However, the complimentary breakfast was extremely limited. While the breakfast area was maintained well, there were very few food options available, making it difficult to find a satisfying meal.
