About

Hotel Aspen Inn Suites sits right on Route 66 in Flagstaff, about 80 miles south of the South Rim, and it's built around a simple pitch: all-suite rooms, an outdoor pool, and a business center, without a lot of frills piled on top. It's a practical stay for anyone using Flagstaff as a home base before or after a canyon day.

What guests say

With 2,364 reviews and a 3.6 rating, the experience here runs a wide range. Regulars praise the value and the front-desk staff's attitude, and one guest called it their "go to hotel whenever in Flagstaff." Rooms come through consistently as clean with comfortable beds and strong water pressure in the shower. Check-in is handled at a lobby kiosk with a live staff member on hand rather than a fully automated process. On the downside, several reviewers flag small/cramped rooms, parking that gets tight when the property is full, and service inconsistencies — from slow key-card fixes to a pool that's been under maintenance at times. Worth reading recent reviews before booking if any of that would be a dealbreaker.

Good to know

  • Location: 1008 E Route 66, Flagstaff — walkable to the historic Route 66 corridor
  • Amenities: all-suite rooms, outdoor pool, business center, Wi-Fi
  • Front desk: staffed kiosk check-in, not fully self-service

It's a budget-to-midrange option best suited to travelers who want a straightforward suite and a pool after a long day on the road, not a boutique experience.

This hotel is horrible, we arrived at our room to find bugs everywhere, blood on the bed sheets and bathroom walls and holes in the walls along with stains everywhere. We took videos and pictures and told the hotel staff immediately. They didn’t even offer us another room. We left to a new hotel because the condition of that room was completely unacceptable. We then have called about 5 times to get our money back for the hotel we did not stay in, the manager Marie was extremely rude to us, despite us having video and photographic proof, contacting them immediately and trying to work with her. NOT a place to take you’re family at all. We will never be back and will definitely be spreading the word to everyone we can, horrible hotel, horrible service.

Not bad place to stay! The beds are very comfortable. Everything looked nice and clean. Only issues I really have is that a few things were broken like the toilet lid and a loose doorknob on the bathroom door. I stayed for a week and I asked for my room to be turned everyday and they skipped a day. But overall the staff is very helpful and friendly. It was a good place to stay.
