Lee's Ferry Lodge sits on Highway 89A in Marble Canyon, in the high-desert country between the Vermilion Cliffs and the Colorado River. It's a small, rustic property with a lot of character — renovated motel rooms and a couple of roomier vacation-rental units, each with its own personality rather than cookie-cutter decor. There's no full-time restaurant on site, but the guest kitchen is stocked and available 24/7, and the on-site tavern pours a cold beer and has a pool table and darts for evenings when you're not out chasing condors or fish.
This stretch of 89A near Lees Ferry is also known for California condor sightings, and more than one guest has watched them from the property. It's a solid, no-frills base for river-runners, anglers, and anyone working through the Marble Canyon-to-North Rim corridor.

What an absolute gem of a place. Quite remote and wonderfully quirky with 100yr old buildings repurposed for small, quiet rooms with incredible views of the Vermilion Cliffs. There is a bar, kitchen for public use and a selection of memoribilia for sale. Brady was on hand to ensure all was well. What a lovely guy, so interesting to chat to about local history, local knowledge and just about anything else. Would love to stay again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Lees Ferry's. This is one of my favorite places, surrounded by incredible nature, and it has such a peaceful, warm atmosphere. The building we stayed in was a bit weathered—it had that rustic charm, and some might see it as old-fashioned—but honestly, it was so cozy and welcoming. It’s a casual place, not like a fancy hotel, but we felt really at home. Brady was incredibly kind—he was so attentive and even built a campfire for us at night. I’m really grateful. Thanks to all his tips, we had a fantastic time exploring the area on a morning hike. Our visit was at the end of December 2025, a really quiet time, with mild weather, and it was just a perfect and relaxing family getaway. And on top of that, we got to see California condors up close—such an amazing experience. We can’t wait to return!

We stay here every year, it's one of our favorite places in Arizona when we travel down from Alaska. The staff is super friendly, the setting is extremely peaceful and all of the rooms we've stayed in have all been comfortable, modern and each has its own unique character. Every year, we wish we had more time, sometimes we joke that maybe next year will just stay for the winter. They also have a fun bar and an open kitchen for guest personal use.

We've stayed here on two occasions and have been impressed with the clean rooms and helpful staff. Brady, the manager is a wealth of information about hiking and sightseeing in the area. There is no restaurant here, but the kitchen is available 24/7 for use by people that take a room here and it is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to make meals, and is very clean also. There are restaurants about 3 miles away in either direction as an alternative.

We stayed at number 11 and this has THE best view en an amazing 2 room apartment. You share the garden with number 10 but everyone is enjoying nature. They also have a bar where you can play pool or darts and have a drink. In the back of the tavern is a shared kitchen with an oven and all kitchen utensils. At the grounds you can see many plants and animals and also a gardens which we picked a cucumber. Thanks for the amazing experience!!
