We had a wonderful stay at Maswik Lodge. The bed was absolutely the most comfortable we have had during our entire trip — incredibly cozy and perfect for a great night’s sleep.
The nord property has been beautifully renovated and features an elevator, which is a great convenience. The location is excellent, making it very easy to explore the Grand Canyon, and the parking is convenient and close by.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The property also offers restaurants and other useful amenities, making it very convenient to have everything you need on site.
Overall, an excellent stay and highly recommended!
We were celebrating our 47th anniversary and loved our stay at the Maswik Lodge in the Grand Canyon Park! The Canyon was such a short stroll away, and the Lodge had a food court with so many delicious choices at reasonable prices! We stayed two nights and had everything we needed right there! Once we checked in, we never even used our car till we checked out and left:) We would definitely stay here again!

The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short walk to the South Rim, making it incredibly easy to catch both sunrise and sunset without worrying about parking or crowds. Being surrounded by the peaceful pine forest while still being so close to one of the world's greatest natural wonders was the perfect combination.

The staff was friendly, but did struggle with correct information. We also appreciated the convenient dining options and easy access to the park shuttle, which made exploring the Grand Canyon effortless.

The biggest advantage is the location. Being inside Grand Canyon National Park means you're minutes from the rim and can easily catch sunrise, sunset, or take a mid-day break without dealing with long drives or park entry lines.
Our room was surprisingly large, very clean, and comfortable. No, this is not a luxury resort, and you shouldn't expect Ritz-Carlton amenities. But for a national park lodge, the accommodations exceeded expectations. The room felt well-maintained, safe, quiet, and had everything we needed for a great stay.
I was a little concerned about the food court after reading some of the reviews before arriving, but I honestly thought it was perfectly fine. Is it Michelin-star dining? Of course not. But given the location, we found the food surprisingly solid, portions were reasonable, and most meals were around $10–$12. It was convenient, tasted good, and did exactly what we needed after a long day exploring the canyon.
Most importantly, every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay.
If you're looking for luxury, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a clean, comfortable room in an unbeatable location with helpful staff, convenient food options, and easy access to the Grand Canyon, Maswik Lodge is an excellent choice.
We had an excellent stay. The staffs were nice and friendly. The room was clean.Ambience was good. 5 mins walk to the shuttle bus. Breakfast is paid with good options, but bit pricey. A reasonable price for the rooms. Since the lodge is inside the park, it was highly convenient to any south rim hikes, sunsets, points with the shuttle. Overall , a beautiful place to stay
