It’s a cheap hotel, and for a cheap hotel, you get what you pay for. I’d say for the price, this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Room was clean, water was hot, Clerk is blunt but friendly, I really enjoyed my time here. It’s a great location, walking distance from all the little kanab shops. I extended my stay twice, and the man at the front desk was kind and happy to accommodate me. Its not fancy but it’s perfect for a cheap stay in a little tourist town. I stayed for 4 days and by the end I was a little sad to leave, started to feel like home. And I actually like the concrete floors. People say it’s looks unfinished, I disagree. I’d call it industrial chic.
The price was great! It is an old motel but was clean [I always wear footwear as carpets are never really clean]. Bed was more comfortable than I expected for the price we paid. Water took a long time to get warm, but shower stall was decent.
Called because we were coming in at 1:00 am and needed to find out if we could still check in. I had found a rate of $104 on hotels.com so I asked what kind of rate he could give me. He said $99 so I took it and they left a key for us. When I checked out the next day they had charged me $125 and would not honor what I was told on the phone. On top of that the rooms were super old and dated with very ugly bedspreads and curtains that let all the sun in because they were so flimsy. I did give them a 2 because we were so tired and the room was at least clean enough
Truly the definition of you get what you pay for. Cheap is what I was aiming for, a place to sleep and shower. The rooms were in need of upkeep. I stayed in room 16 for a weekend.
The good: the room has a working heater, there wasn't an odd smell, there was a tv, a micro wave and a mini fridge for use, the shower water heater up timely instead of taking a long while, no plumbing problems, complimentary shampoo and body soap.
The bad: uncomfortable bed, the lamp shades were falling apart, only one available plug for charging devices, (unless you use the bathroom plug), the curtains were ripped so sunlight showed through at sunrise, and exposed electrical cords along the wall and ceiling.
There is a pool available in the summer time, it's pet friendly, there are restaurants within walking distance and benches for sitting outside to have a smoke.
DO NOT BOOK HERE!

4. Lights in bathroom don’t work
5. brought this up with staff they were rude, didn’t seem to care, told me no compensation, no apology or accountability, then they hung up the phone on me.
would never recommend or stay here again. Awful experience
