We were driving back from Wyoming to Mesa and decided to call it a night in Kanab. I looked up some motels in the area. It was late and we really just needed a need to sleep for the night - nothing fancy. The reviews for this place were great as was the price. Perfect! And it actually was!!! The manager is so nice and accommodating. Rooms - spotless! We got up early to get back on the road and the manager was nice enough to make me a pot of coffee before we left. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again.
The customer service is wonderful and the motel management has great integrity. We were able to book the day before and reserve the last room available for the next evening. The night we drove there in May, there happened to be an unexpected snowstorm and we then needed to stay somewhere else that night that was a shorter distance. We called the next day to explain why we didn’t show up and they offered to give us a full refund.
I’m so grateful for how flexible they were and for refunding us when circumstances changed. I hope to stay there some day in the future when we drive out through Kanab again.
Great price. Nice staff. The room stayed nice and cool. The motel needs a little bit of an update. The outlets are wore out and my chargers couldn't stay plugged in without falling out. They could use some mattresses that are a little more comfy. All in all it wasn't terrible.
I didn't want to spend an outrageous amount of money on hotels while being in Kanab, so this was a decent budget option. Upon arrival, I found that there was no one in the office. Instead, I found my keys on the desk in an envelope with my name on it. it also had a nice, welcoming message on the inside. That was quite nice.
The room itself was quite dated. The overhead light didn't work, so I relied on the lamps to illuminate the room. It wasn't cleaned very thoroughly since I found a 9mm Luger round right under the bed. The plumbing was very weak, as well. Other than that, all other appliances worked.
The location is about as ideal as it gets. Right downtown, easy access to the local grocery store, shops, restaurants, etc. it doesn't get much better than that.
First thought was just another run down motel. It was so clean and smelled good and very quaint!
Janelle was extremely helpful and wonderful! My cat wouldn’t come out from out from under bed and i inquired about a late checkout out or buying another night and she said no, she would not take any money but she will help get my cat. Which she did! She even brought over a can of tuna to help lure my cat out from under bed.
Absolutely will recommend this motel to anyone traveling with pets through this area.
