They are tents but they got it going on plenty of room super friendly and helpful staff and in the middle of the high desert away from it all, so relaxing

Trendy collection of seasonal permanent tents in the desert featuring a picnic area & a fire pit.
Wander Camp is a small cluster of permanent canvas tents set up in the high desert outside Williams, and it's built for people who want the stars-and-firepit version of camping without pitching a tent themselves. Reviewers consistently call out the setting — remote, quiet, and genuinely dark at night — along with a 4.6 rating from over 1,000 reviews, which is a strong showing for a seasonal glamping property.
Rooms are spacious, furnished tents rather than bare canvas — guests describe comfortable beds and clean, well-kept interiors. A communal picnic and fire-pit area anchors the property, and an on-site food truck covers meals, which reviewers note is convenient given how far the camp sits from restaurants (though it runs pricier than you'd expect, if still cheaper than dining inside the park). The walk to shared bathroom facilities is easy enough for adults but has been flagged as a bit far for young kids.
It's not a luxury resort, and it's not trying to be — it's a comfortable, staffed basecamp for a night or two under genuinely dark skies. Book ahead, since tent counts are limited and it draws steady traffic during canyon season.

Hello, The staff was unwelcoming, it was a rainy day, and despite the tipis being advertised as waterproof on the website, they weren't in reality. Both of our tipis were soaked, as were the beds and the floor, making it impossible to have children sleep in those conditions. We had to leave. The host didn't fulfill their part of the contract but refuses to issue a refund. I strongly recommend avoiding this place immediately…

Wonderful place, enjoyed a night with a family of four! Large tents, clean shared bathrooms, large DIY barbecue area (both if you bring wood or gas), and scary stories told under the stars! Michelle was very kind. Highly recommended experience, but be careful to take the right route, otherwise the GPS will take you down an impossible dirt road.
