Wupatki National Monument

Nestled between the Painted Desert and ponderosa highlands of northern Arizona, Wupatki preserves the footprints of the ancestors of contemporary Pueblo communities, who built a bustling center of trade and culture here in the early 1100s during a period of cooler, wetter weather.
Entrance Fees
$25 per private vehicle (7 days); $20 for motorcycles; $15 per individual bicyclist/pedestrian. Often visited together with neighboring Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument on a single loop road.
